Text Library #
This Update Video introduces the new Text Library and corresponding Text Items. The Text Library is a new option for creating standard text (Text Items) that can be used for Instructions, Site Preparation, Isolation Distance and Remarks on a Permit, Drainfield, Septic Tank and Site Evaluation.
Text Items added to a Permit, Drainfield, Septic Tank and Site Evaluation are managed as data, so it persists and is only removed if deleted. Text Items are also editable, so changes can be made efficiently on the front end while users are developing a Permit.
Resolving Orphaned Features #
This update reviews linking orphan features (previously mapped features such as Septic Tank, Drainfield, Soil Boring and Building that are not linked to a System point) to new or existing System point.
The concepts in this video will help users resolve orphan features so that they are linked to a System point, resulting in improved data for Insights and reporting.
2022 #
Field Statistics #
Field Statistics for a field with numerical values can now be added to a Report.
The update provides the opportunity to add statistics, like Sum, Average, Min, Max and Count to any Report in FetchEH.
Water Testing Fields #
New fields have been added to track Water Testing results for Bacteria and Nitrate.
The update enables users to enter Detect/Non Detect (Present/Absent) values for Bacteria and Nitrate results from Well Water Testing, Surface Water Testing and Well Inspections.
2021 #
Bulk Editing #
New tools have been added to enable updating a single attribute for multiple features (Bulk Editing).
This update provides the ability to edit a single attribute across multiple features on the same map layer or table. For example, an update to the Operations Permit Expiration Date can be made to multiple System points at once, rather than conducting the updates one System point at a time. The Bulk Editing process can be accomplished using the Map and Reports.
Soil Horizons #
There are several new Soil Characteristic Fields that can be captured for a Soil Horizon.
This update adds new Soil Characteristic Fields to the Soil Horizon table to better describe a Soil Horizon. The new Soil Characteristics Fields can be added to the Soil Horizon Form using Form Designer and provide the ability to capture additional Soil Horizon data.
Form Accordion #
The fields used to display information in an Accordion Header can now be customized.
This update provides an option to control what fields are used to display information in a Form Accordion Header. By default, the first three fields in a Form are used to display information in the Form’s Accordion Header. Users can now customize an Accordion Header to make the information displayed there more relevant to their needs.
Form Text Elements #
Editable Text is a new Form Element that can be used to place text that can be edited in a Form. The text can be edited when a Form is in Print mode and edits made to Editable Text are not saved. To retain edited text create a PDF with the Editable Text and upload the PDF to the corresponding Form (System, Septic Tank, Restaurant, Body Art, Permit, etc.).
This update provides the ability to create a standard set of stipulations, notes or special instructions on a land evaluation, permit or other Form, and then make modifications to the text prior to creating final output (PDF and/or print).
Non Printing Text is a new Form Element that can be used to place text in a Form that will not be displayed when printing or creating a PDF.
This update provides the ability to add text to a Form for workflow instructions, notes or general information purposes, but does not need to be on the final output (PDF and/or print).
